AIOP Emilia-Romagna “accelerates” for the ratification of the pre-agreement from 1 October 2020. Salary increases for Nurses, Oss and Health Professions arrive.
A positive conclusion for the renewal of the workers’ contract of the private law component of the NHS. After a wait of 14 years, for AIOP ER it is time to give a push and a response to private health workers and to equate them in contractual and regulatory treatment with colleagues in public health.
It took place yesterday morning in the imperial hall of the Royal Hotel Carlton in Bologna.
the regional assembly called by AIOP Emilia-Romagna with the participation of members present in the room and connected remotely.
The topics were introduced by the president of the regional association and vice-president of AIOP Nazionale dott. Bruno Biagi. At his side, Dr. Barbara Citizens president of AIOP Nazionale who addressed words of commendation and thanks to the entrepreneurs of the Emilia-Romagna healthcare sector for the commitment shown throughout the emergency phase of Covid which continues today with actions aimed at managing and containing new infections.
On the agenda of the meeting the topic of contract renewal for non-medical employees, whose pre-agreement was signed by AIOP on 10 June (Italian Association of Private Hospital) e AIRIS (Religious Association of Social and Health Institutes), in agreement with the trade unions, FP CGIL, CISL FP and UIL FPL.
This agreement is the preliminary step for the contract renewal, which 100 thousand workers are waiting for and which could come by the end of next week.
“As structures of the private component together with the public component we are an integral and proactive part in the redefinition of the National Health System, for this reason we will continue the renewal of the contract which is no longer derogable. We can no longer be spectators of this change ” the Presidente AIOP ER Biagi – Our employees have the same rights and duties, duties and honors as employees who work in the public ”.
The regional vice president of AIOP dott. Averardo Orta and president of AIOP Bologna to bring to the attention of all present a motion that provides the application and approval of the effects of the pre-agreement from 1 October 2020. The vote was unanimous in the room and also recorded the consent of the participants connected with Zoom.
Satisfied the president of AIOP Barbara Cittadini who thanked the Minister of Health Speranza for giving an important boost to the long-standing contractual affair and more: “The commitment that this Region made in signing the contract was extraordinary. There was a constant dialogue with the President of the Region Stefano Bonaccini who has shown that he listens to our requests repeatedly. It was a team effort and we will sign this contract ”.
Such a signature could arrive precisely Friday 25 September on the occasion of the national assembly to be held in Rome.
Finally, the intervention of the health councilor of the Emilia-Romagna Region Raffaele Donini who thanked the AIOP entrepreneurs for giving their utmost commitment even in the most acute phases of the health emergency:
“I have always recognized the extraordinary contribution of Aiop Emilia-Romagna in all the management of the Covid emergency, providing 93 intensive care places, 886 acute and post-acute hospital beds, over 1900 beds for non-Covid activities and about 200 beds in the CRA system.
The fact that more than 8000 employees in Emilia-Romagna are now entitled to the same contractual and regulatory treatment as public health workers is a victory for the whole system, for workers and for employers and trade unions.
An important result for workers, who must have equal contractual dignity since they have equal professional dignity “.
