Rescuers were with the seriously injured man shortly after two o’clock in the afternoon. After falling from the window of the house in the center of Havířov, he was still conscious.
“The intervening doctor found injuries to his head, both lower limbs and did not rule out other serious injuries,” said ambulance spokesman Lukáš Humpl.
His condition was deteriorating rapidly, so even in the ambulance they had to put him to artificial sleep and connect him to devices. Rescuers took him to the trauma center of the Ostrava University Hospital.
There, shortly after his arrival, he succumbed to serious injuries. The accident is dealing with Karviná police officers. “The man died in the hospital the same afternoon. The circumstances of the case are being investigated,” police spokeswoman Zlatuše Viačková told TN.cz.
