The Boston Celtics had their backs to the wall. Opponent Miami Heat only needs one more win for a place in the final. Things didn’t look good for Boston at half time. The Celtics were 7 points behind, but in a very strong third quarter they were able to turn the game around.
The absolute star of the Celtics was Jayson Tatum, with 31 points and 10 rebounds. His teammate Jaylen Brown was barely inferior with 28 points and 8 rebounds.
With that, the Celtics come back to 3-2 in the mutual confrontations. The team must therefore certainly win the 6th match to have a chance to win a final ticket. Otherwise, that place is for the Miami Heat.
If the Celtics do make it to the final, it will be the first in ten years and the 22nd in club history. With 17 titles, they are the record holder in the NBA, the last one dating back to 2008.
