– It will be nice weather this weekend, says Marianne Skolem Andersen, meteorologist on duty at Værvarslinga in Western Norway.

While the weather will be quite nice on Saturday both in Bergen and in the outer areas, it will be even better towards the end of the weekend.

– It can blow a little on the whole coast now on Saturday. It is north and northeast wind, and then the wind can take a little inland on land, says Andersen.

Along the coast south of Stad it will come up in a small gale, while at Stad it can blow up in a small storm.

Up to 20 degrees

Despite the fact that there will be occasional clouds and precipitation, it will be mostly very good both Sunday and Monday.

– It looks like we’ll be fine and warm. It can get up to 20 degrees, says the meteorologist.

– But I can not promise 100 percent stay all the time, she adds.

Over the next week, however, there will be more changing weather.

– We get to enjoy the first days that look nice, says the meteorologist.

Bad weather in Eastern Norway

While westerners have good days ahead, easterners must cover themselves with a rain shower.

– Especially the night before Saturday and the first part of Sunday, they get a lot of precipitation. A danger warning has been sent out that there may be a lot of precipitation and strong gusts locally, says Andersen.

In the next few days, there will be precipitation and snow on the mountains throughout southern Norway.

Snow will come in a place from 700 and 900 meters above sea level, she adds.

– But the precipitation will come mostly on the east side of the mountain, says the meteorologist.
