Frenchman arrested on A16 for ‘possible firearms’ | Inland

The police had recently been tipped off that the 36-year-old Frenchman would be on the road with a firearm in the car.

After his car was forced to stop, the police therefore acted cautiously in his arrest. Because the suspect did not obey orders from police officers, a warning shot was fired. After that, the Frenchman cooperated in his arrest.

When searching his car, the police found several canisters of pepper spray. They have been confiscated and are being destroyed. A firearm has not been found.
