Volkswagen declassified updated crossover Tiguan for the Russian market. According to the press service of the brand, the new product will be sold in four trim levels: Respect, Status, Exclusive, R-Line. Car prices will be announced later. Production is set up at the plant in Kaluga
The restyled Volkswagen Tiguan can be distinguished from its predecessor thanks to a new radiator grill, large air intakes, chrome moldings and other bumpers. The car received headlights in the style of the new Golf and lights with dynamic turning lights.

The car was equipped with a new infotainment complex MIB3 with displays with a diagonal of 6.5, or 8.0 or inches, as well as a voice command recognition system. The Climatron air conditioner is now controlled using touch controls.
The engine lineup has four engine options: 125, 150, 180 and 220 horsepower. The car will be offered both with front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive versions. The hybrid modification, which the crossover acquired in Europe, is not represented in Russia.
In the basic version, the updated Tiguan is equipped with heated front seats, three-zone climate control and cruise control with a speed limiter. The driver has access to an emergency braking assistant and an audio system with a touchscreen display. The Status trim features silver roof rails, tinted rear windows and chrome edging.
The Exclusive modification additionally received a virtual dashboard, as well as advanced driver assistance systems. Among them: the system of keeping the car in the lane, the system of keyless entry and start of the engine, as well as the function of monitoring the tire pressure. The top version of the R-Line is equipped with an aggressive bumper and a larger spoiler. The interior is fitted with electrically adjustable leather seats and memory settings, as well as special door sills and pedals. The list of driving assistants includes advanced adaptive cruise control with distance assistant in traffic jam.

The pre-styled VW Tiguan regularly enters the top ten most popular cars in Russia. In August, according to the Association of European Businesses (AEB), 3334 German crossovers were sold in our market. Prices for pre-styling Tiguan in Russia start at 1,759,000 rubles. The top version of the car will cost 2,679,000 rubles.
