At the same time, Prymula introduced a new R number on Friday, an indicator of how many other people can be infected by one infected person. One week ago, the R number was 1.6. Now the value is somewhere around the number 1.4.

However, the director of the Institute of Health Information and Statistics (ÚZIS) Ladislav Dušek pointed out that this may not say anything about the overall situation now, because, as usual, the value is expected to increase on Friday due to catching up before the weekend.
