The information at the disposal of SPKC shows that 20 patients became infected from known sources of infection, including 17 of them related to a company in Kuldiga.

One person is known to be infected in Germany, but the conditions of infection are specified for 10 people. The epidemiological investigation is ongoing.

Two patients with Covid-19 have been hospitalized in the last day, a total of nine patients are being treated in hospitals, all with moderate disease.

A total of 222 patients were discharged from the hospital, according to the National Health Service.

A total of 306,652 examinations were performed in Latvia, 1,625 persons became ill and 1,282 recovered, and 36 died.

On Thursday it was reported that in Kuldiga, the manufacturing company SIA “Kuldiga textile “, Covid-19 infection was officially confirmed for more than two employees, referring to the information provided by the company, informed Kristīne Dulbinska, Head of the Marketing and Public Relations Department of Kuldiga Municipality.
According to the data provided by the Center for Disease Prevention and Control (SPKC), a total of ten patients were diagnosed in Kuldīga region on Thursday in connection with the manufacturing company.
