This week was all about Tabitha, the most streamed singer in the Netherlands. With a whole range of hits it was difficult to choose the other participants of Dear Singers, but Milow took a different approach. The Flemish singer performed the song ‘Redemption Song’, which is original by Bob Marley. The song is special to Tabitha because it was sung at her father’s funeral. She hasn’t been able to listen to it since then, but made an exception for Milow. And that brought many tears and compassion on Twitter.

‘Milow does this very nicely,’ one viewer sums it up very briefly. Another believes that the singer has a ‘ridiculously beautiful voice’ after his performance of the classic. A third keeps it simple: ‘Beautiful’.

Sanne Hans’ performance of ‘Hey Mam’ was also appreciated. One person calls her performance a ‘keeper’, another is moved to tears: ‘We want to hear it more often’.

Best Singers has also been nominated for the Gouden Televizier-Ring. In the video below you can see the reaction of the presenter of the previous season, Jan Smit.
