The police have not yet been able to confirm this. Then the car probably overturned several times. The debris field extends over several 100 meters. According to the fire brigade’s initial findings, no other vehicles were involved.

The VW was packed with young people: two girls aged 14 and 15, two young men, 20 and 27 years old, and a 16 year old. The latter died in the ambulance at the scene of the accident. The other people involved in the accident were seriously injured and taken to the surrounding hospitals.

As the fire brigade confirmed to the media, there was still a lot of traffic on the busy A661 despite the late hour. The rescue alley worked well.
