Romy

Harmen wants to know how Romy and Kimberly experienced that time and how they are now. Romy is doing well, although the second wave seems tough. She thinks it is important that people do not forget how violent corona can be. ‘When I cycle home, I see a lot of people who don’t keep a meter and a half away. I think that’s a shame. But I think you don’t really realize it until you were there then. Then you would have seen how people looked. ‘

Kimberly

Harmen also talks to nurse Kimberly. The first days when the ward was flooded with corona patients made a big impression on her. ‘There were too many patients and too few nurses. The disease was so unpredictable and that made it scary. Sometimes patients deteriorated rapidly within a few minutes. ‘ Is she ready for a second round? You can hear what she answers to that question in the first episode of Ten days of Saint Anthony.
