Moroccan press reports said, today, Wednesday, that Ayoub El Kaabi, the player of the Chinese Hebei Fortin team, made Moroccan Wydad a top priority in order to return to the Oval team this summer.
Moroccan newspaper “Sport”, revealed from private sources, that negotiations between Wydad and Ayoub Al Kaabi are continuing until now after the Moroccan striker canceled his contract with his Chinese team to become available to transfer to any team for free.
The Moroccan newspaper added, from sources close to it, that the negotiations of Karim Dameer, the player’s agent, with Saeed Nassiri are proceeding in the right way, indicating that the final settlement of the deal may be soon.
The Moroccan newspaper indicated that Ayoub Al Kaabi put Wydad at the head of the clubs he wants to move to, starting with the current Mercato.
Ayoub Al Kaabi played with the Wydad Casablanca team during the current season on loan, as he participated in 14 games in an official way, in which he scored nine goals and made three crucial goals.
Ayoub Al-Kaabi, 27, was associated with the recent move to Al-Ahly, along with Pyramids.
In the event that Ayoub El Kaabi moves to Wydad, the Moroccan striker will support the Casablanca team in the African Champions League competition, after playing the current version.
Wydad is a competitor to Al-Ahly in the African Champions League competition in the round of four competitions, where the first match will be held in Morocco before the return leg in Egypt will take place next month.
