Volvo brought to Russia the updated S90 sedan and V90 station wagon :: Autonews

Volvo announced the start of Russian sales renewed S90 sedan and V90 Cross Country station wagon… The cars have undergone some stylistic changes, as well as additional equipment.

The model can be distinguished from its predecessors thanks to a different radiator grille, a new spoiler, redesigned bumpers, and modified optics with dynamic direction indicators. Plus, for the sedan and station wagon, new design rims and new body colors have become available.

In addition, the cars received hidden tailpipes of the exhaust system: such a stylistic element is provided for by the strategy of the Swedish brand to gradually abandon internal combustion engines and switch to “green” units.

All Volvo S90 and V90 trims now feature a 12.3-inch virtual instrument cluster, Traffic Sign Recognition and an electric tailgate.

Finally, the top speed of new cars for safety reasons forcibly limited to 180 km per hour… The decision to reduce the maximum speed is due to the implementation of the Vision 2020 strategy, according to which the possibility of death or serious injury in Volvo cars should be minimized.

The Volvo S90 and V90 Cross Country are available with 190 and 235 hp diesel engines, as well as a two-liter petrol unit producing 249 hp. Prices for a sedan start at 3,155,000 rubles, and a station wagon will cost at least 3,705,000 rubles.
