WASHINGTON DC, KOMPAS.com – Channel Telegram belonging to the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria ( ISIS) reported flooded by porn pictures by one of the netizens.
The statement was made by Cole Bunzel, one of the researchers at the Stanford University’s Hoover Institution think tank on Twitter.
Bunzel said that the residents of the group managed by ISIS in Telegram were getting anxious because there were netizens who were distributing pornographic images.

“Meanwhile the moderator disappeared. ‘I tried to delete the message and kicked him, but I couldn’t. Where’s the moderator’?” said Bunzel.
It is not clear who is the mastermind behind the spam. But, Al Arabiya reported nothing to do with attacks on ISIS-run media in 2016.

At that time, a hacker by the name of Wauchula Ghost carried out an attack on the Twitter account Daesh (short for ISIS in Arabic).
The stunt came after one of his supporters attacked a gay club in Orlando, Florida, in which 49 people were killed and 53 others injured.
Wauchula Ghost retaliated by hacking hundreds of Daesh social media outlets, and then filling them with pornographic images and acts of gay solidarity.
Talk to CNN, the hacker who is part of the online group Anonymous said, he deliberately chose the photo to have a big impact.
“We took over their social media and filled it up to mock and offend them,” he was quoted as saying Middle East Monitor Tuesday (22/9/2020).
Wauchula Ghost claims he was able to hack into the terrorist group’s account in just 60 seconds because of the many loopholes there.
Apart from Twitter, Telegram is also one of the media that the group uses quite often to spread propaganda.
Rita Katz, founder of the SITE intelligence group, said the application immediately carried out a clean-up of conversations suspected to belong to ISIS.
Under such pressure, Katz then explained that ISIS had switched to other chat applications such as Hoop and Riot.
