Ine Jansen (47) has distinguished himself as a very central and popular actor in Norway in recent years. The 47-year-old has had great success both on the theater stage and on the movie screen since she graduated from the Theater Academy in 1999.
She is probably best known for the viewer favorite “Absolutely Perfect” on TV Norway, where she plays against her acting colleague Thomas Giertsen (49).
However, the road to success has been long – and not just easy. Like most other actors, Jansen also had to go through rather small and unpleasant auditions before his career took off in earnest.
In the NRK podcast “That’s how you are” with presenters Harald Eia and Nils Brenna, Ine Jansen says that she had to “masturbate” during an audition for an extra role in the performance “The Park” at the National Theater in 1993.
Several great theater veterans participated in the play, including Anne Krigsvoll (63), Kjersti Holmen (64), Kim Haugen (61) and Bjarte Hjelmeland (50).
– I worked at Burger King, and had served burgers all night. I had to shower for a long time to get rid of that frying smell. I fell asleep until the first day of the test and was called up, completely shaking, says Jansen in the podcast.
– I got it
excellent alone
– I am getting nauseous
This was before the 47-year-old broke through as an actress, and a number of the actress idols she looked up to were sitting in the hall when the Swedish director Ragnar Lyth later asked the young budding actor “to masturbate”.
– Everyone sat there in a row, I was so scared. Then he said: «when Bjarte comes in here, he will talk about love. And when he says “beloved”, I think you can masturbate “, says Jansen.
In the podcast, she describes the situation as one of the worst she has been through.
