Argentine Gabriel Calderon, the former coach of the Saudi Al-Hilal club, confirmed that the Zamalek team is negotiating with him among several other coaches, indicating that he is ready to lead the white team.
Carteron left Zamalek a few days ago, by paying the penalty clause stipulated in the contract with the team.
Calderon said in exclusive statements to Lilacora: “Zamalek is negotiating with my agent to train the team, but what I know is that I am not the only coach who is negotiating with him.”
The Argentine coach concluded his remarks: “I am ready to train Zamalek, but there must be agreement on other matters before I take over the work there.”
It is worth noting that Mortada Mansour, President of Zamalek Club, had previously revealed the names of the coaches nominated to lead the white team to succeed French Carteron, and they are Christian Gross, Pacheco, Gabriel Calderon and Portuguese Ferrera.
