LG K42 smartphone stands out for its unusual rear panel design

LG has expanded its range of mid-range smartphones with the K42 model, made in a case with protection according to the MIL-STD-810G standard. The device is running Android 10 operating system with LG UX add-on.

The novelty stands out for its unusual wavy design of the rear panel of the case. The special coating prevents scratches. The main camera has a four-component configuration: these are sensors with 13 and 5 million pixels, as well as a pair of 2-megapixel sensors.

The HD + Punch Hole display measures 6.6 inches diagonally. A hole in the center of the top of the screen houses an 8-megapixel selfie camera. The fingerprint scanner is on the side.

The MediaTek Helio P22 processor is used: it combines eight ARM Cortex-A53 computing cores with a clock speed of up to 2.0 GHz, an IMG PowerVR GE8320 graphics accelerator and an LTE cellular modem.

The smartphone’s arsenal includes 3 GB of RAM, a 64 GB flash drive, a Bluetooth 5.0 adapter, a USB Type-C port and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. Dimensions are 76.7 × 165.0 × 8.4 mm, weight – 182 g. The device is powered by a 4000 mAh battery.
