The return to normality is not being experienced the same in all sectors. An example of this is the educational field, more specifically the private nurseries. The colective does not agree with the protocol prepared by the Government of Asturias and they have expressed their discomfort in a manifesto signed by 24 centers. They are businesses from different parts of the region but with a common nexus: their anger at the way to proceed. Jennifer Garcia, owner of the Talentinos nursery-toy library, considers that “We are not taken into account.” They do not want to compare themselves with public facilities but they wonder why public centers do not reopen their doors until September when the same does not happen with them.
The private centers from 0 to 3 rise in Asturias a 80 and only the signatory businesses (24) serve more than 700 children. García explains that they need financial support from the administrations and considers essential prolong ERTE so that jobs can be maintained.
