Firefighters, police and rescuers set off for a serious car accident in the village of Vlasatice on Saturday before seven o’clock in the evening.
“According to current information, the driver of the Volkswagen did not make a left turn and crashed into the castle wall. Unfortunately, a forty-three-year-old man succumbed to his injuries on the spot,” police spokeswoman Alice Musilová explained the circumstances of the accident.
It is not yet clear exactly whether the driver failed to drive or, for example, something ran into his path. This will only be revealed by further police investigations into this serious incident.
