JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Loyalist Vespa in Indonesia quite a lot. For that, PT Piaggio Indonesia dare to present a Vespa limited edition, albeit at a very high price.
There are quite a number of limited edition Vespa models launched in Indonesia. Noted, there are 11 limited edition Vespa models that have been launched.

The number of each model is believed to be only tens of units. This is because Piaggio Indonesia rarely discloses the actual number every time it launches a limited edition product.
Here are 11 limited edition Vespas that have launched in Indonesia:
1. Vespa 946
The Vespa 946 was launched in 2013. At the beginning of the launch, it was stated that this automatic scooter (scooter) was only available for 51 units.
With an engine capacity of 125 cc, the 946 offers exclusivity and an elegant appearance. The Vespa 946 was priced at IDR 146 million when it was first launched.
2. Vespa 946 Very beautiful
Success with 946, Vespa presents 946 Bellissima in 2014. The only difference is in the outer appearance. While the features and the engine are still the same.
However, this scooter is priced more expensive, which is IDR 170 million when it was first launched. The number of units provided is also only 51 units.
3. Vespa 946 Emporio Armani
The Vespa 946 Emporio Armani was launched in 2015. The price is more expensive than the previous 946 variant, reaching Rp. 196 million when it was first launched.
The changes are still on the outside. There are no changes to features and engines.
4. Vespa 70th Anniversary Edition
To celebrate the 70th anniversary of Vespa in 2016, PT Piaggio Indonesia released four types of limited edition Vespas at once.
The four types, among others, Vespa Spring, Vespa GTS 150, Vespa GTS 300, and the most exciting is the Vespa New PX. All these Vespa models are light blue in color which Vespa calls the Azzuro 70.
The Vespa New PX costs Rp. 90 million and the Vespa Primavera around Rp. 49 million. While the Vespa GTS 150 is sold for Rp. 59 million, and the Vespa GTS 300 for around Rp. 200 million.
5. Vespa 946 RED
In 2017, Vespa returned to present a limited edition of 946. This time, Vespa collaborated with RED, a non-governmental organization that was founded in 2006.
The red color covers the scooters as a form of the campaign program against AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria. When launched, the Vespa 946 RED was priced at Rp. 199 million.
6. Vespa Six Days
The Vespa GTV is also out of a limited edition, namely the Vespa Sei Giorni. This scooter was imported directly from Italy by PT Piaggio Indonesia in May 2018.
Reportedly, there are only 300 units produced worldwide. The Vespa Sei Giorni was priced at IDR 190 million when it was launched. It was not clear how many units were allotted for Indonesia.
In July 2018, Piaggio Indonesia released the Vespa Sprint Carbon at a price of around IDR 42.5 million. It looks more racy, wrapped in black all over the body, including the rim and exhaust cover.
But, don’t be fooled by the name. Because, there is no carbon material used in this scooter.
In the following year, Piaggio Indonesia completed the Sprint Carbon option with white. The scooter is priced at IDR 49.8 million.
8. Vespa Primavera Yacht Club
One month after the Vespa Sprint Carbon, the Vespa Primavera Yacht Club is launched again. This scooter is sold in limited quantities.
Primavera Yacht Club is inspired by the sophistication and luxury of a cruise ship. When it was first marketed, Piaggio Indonesia sold it for IDR 42 million.
9. Vespa Primavera 50th Anniversary
At the end of 2018, the Vespa Primavera 50th Anniversary was launched. This scooter was created to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Primavera’s birth which was first born in 1968.
There is no difference in features and machines, only the appearance is limited. This Primavera has a 50th Anniversary badge on its storage drawer.
Primavera 50th Anniversary is priced at 42 million with two color choices, and of course with a limited number.
10. Vespa Sprint Night
The Vespa Sprint Notte officially paved in April 2019. At that time, Piaggio Indonesia sold it for IDR 48.5 million.
It looks like Sprint Carbon, but for this scooter wrapped in matte black all over the body. Glossy black color touch only in some parts.
11. Vespa Primavera Sean Wotherspoon
Not long ago, Piaggio Indonesia returned to present a limited edition Vespa, namely the Primavera Sean Wotherspoon. The uniqueness of this Primavera is not only the striking color, but also the materials used in some of its components.
Blue rubber material on the footrest, made like a shoe sole. The seats are covered with light brown velvet corduroy material. This Vespa Primavera Sean Wotherspoon is sold for IDR 85 million.
