Cceres will open on Wednesday the exhibition From my balcony that PhotoEspaa organizes in 48 cities

Cáceres participates in the Festival ‘From my balcony’ organized by PhotoEspaña with the aim of creating a great collective project with images taken from the balconies and windows of the citizens during the confinement.

This exhibition It will be inaugurated next Wednesday, the 24th, in Cáceres, Madrid, Pamplona and Jaén, but later other cities will be added to a total of 48. Hoteliers and residents of the Plaza Mayor will give up their balconies and windows to house the 50 photographs that belong to the PhotoEspaña exhibition.

During these months of confinement, windows and balconies have taken on a new meaning, they have been our contact with the outside world. We have discovered our neighbors through them, to communicate in a different way and also thanks to them we have been able to thank and encourage every day at 8:00 p.m. all those people who have not stopped for a single second, and who are still fighting Covi-19.

For all this, PHotoEspaña launched a photographic and participatory initiative to promote creativity and communication, and which has allowed us to deepen our way of looking, to rediscover our environment, our neighbors and even ourselves.
