This Wednesday at the FIBA headquarters in the Swiss town of Mies, the draw for the 20-21 edition of the Basketball Champions League will take place, in which Iberostar Tenerife will participate again.
The Aurinegro team will be framed in one of the four groups of the competition whose main novelty is the participation of 32 clubs in its group phase, holding previously a preliminary phase in which four teams will enter the European competition that this season will fulfill its Fifth edition.
One of the novelties of this season is that the teams of the same country will not be able to face each other in this group stage except for the Turkish teams since there are five teams from this country, so in one of the groups there will be two clubs of this nationality.
The island team is included in Pot 1 which corresponds to the seeds together with AEK from Athens, Czech Era Nymburk, Hapoel Jerusalen, Hungarian Falco Slombathely, Italian Happy Casa Brindisi, Latvian VEF Riga and Ret ABet Bilbao Basket.
