The pandemic did not stop the Ferrero plants, which kept production active even during the lockdown period, achieving the objectives set out in the supplementary company agreement, working in complete safety and with full mutual satisfaction from the company and unions. Now comes the performance bonus: 2,100 euros gross on average to each of the approximately 6,000 employees of the Italian plants. The sum will be paid in the October pay slip.

The agreement provided for a maximum amount that could be reached for the current year of 2,200 euros gross, sum calculated on the basis of two parameters: the economic result, unique for the whole company, which contributes to determining 30% of the premium; and the operating result, equal to 70% of the bonus, linked to the specific performance of each plant or production area. Therefore the prizes are different according to the various locations. The Alba plant is awarded an incentive of 2,105.97 euros gross per employee. The highest prize goes to S.Angelo, equal to 2,170.24 euros. gross. In Balvano, in Basilicata, where Nutella biscuits are produced, they go to 2,127.74 per person gross. Pozzuolo will receive 2,136.03 euros gross. The staff will receive 2,106.28 euros gross and finally the employees of the areas and deposits 2,029 euros gross.

It is the demonstration, as both the company and the trade unions recognize, that consolidated and profitable industrial relations play a strategic role in obtaining results, even in a particularly difficult and complicated year, due to the effects of the pandemic.
