SEATTLE, KOMPAS.com – A man who is raped guru moment teenager before them married reveals the wife’s last moments before died.
Mary Kay Letourneau, who died in July, was 34 years old and the mother of four when she was have sex with Vili Fualaau in 1996, when he was 12 years old.
The scandal between the teacher and student then graced the media coverage of the United States (US) in the late 1990s, where the incident had become a film.

Mary Kay and Vili are known to be in constant contact, where they married in 2005 after Mary Kay had spent six years on her sentence.
They both have two daughters, Georgia and Audrey, one of whom was reportedly born when Vili was 13 years old.
The woman died at the age of 58 in July, after battling stage 4 colon cancer for nine months.
In an interview with Dr Oz Show, Vili, who is now 37 years old, reveals his wife’s last moment before closing her eyes.
Not only that. Reported Daily Mirror Wednesday (16/9/2020), he also shared his experiences of being a father as a teenager, including whether he felt like a victim.
To Dr. Mehmet Oz, Vili told how before she died, Mary Kay had a chance to talk and laugh when they discussed their child.

Vili recounted as he turned to look at her again, he watched Mary Kay’s chest not move to breathe.
He thought that his wife was taking a break. He counted, and realized from his count he was going to lose it.
“I then turned off the breathing machine to hear if he was breathing very softly,” said Vili Fualaau.
“At that time, I immediately called the children so that they would pick up their other siblings to come and say goodbye,” he continued.
Dr. Oz then had time to ask, in the middle of his 30s, Vili was asked what he would do if he was in a position like Mary Kay.
He then confirmed that he would seek help immediately, as he found it odd to be attracted to a 13 year old child.

Even so, Vili stated that he considered himself a victim when he was raped by Mary Kay. “I mean, we all have preferences,” he explained.
Mary Kay was originally a Vili teacher at Seattle Elementary School since she was eight years old. They both started their romance four years later when Mary’s husband was out of town.
The romance took place when they had dinner the day after their summer class in 1996. Since then, they have been in touch.
The scandal began on June 19, 1996 at 1:20 a.m. local time, when police spotted Mary Kay’s car parked in the marina.
When approached by the police, the educator immediately jumped into the front seat while Vili reportedly pretended to be sleeping in the back seat.
They denied any physical contact with law enforcement, with Mary Kay Letourneau lying that Vili is a family friend and is 18 years old.

He denies that he originally looked after Vili at home. But they were forced to leave because at that time she had an argument with her husband, Steve.
The husband found out about the affair after he found her second love letter in February 1997, and filed for divorce.
Mary Kay was later arrested in March 1997 when one of Steve’s relatives reported to the school where he taught.
In May 1997, she gave birth to her first daughter with Vili pending a verdict, in which she pleaded guilty to second-degree rape.
He was then sentenced to three months in prison in August 1997 for cooperating with prosecutors and pleading guilty.
But the scandal broke again in August 1998, when they were caught having sex in a car. He was jailed for seven years.
Six years completed his sentence or in August 2004, he was released, and married Vili Fualaau the following year.
Vili then filed for divorce in 2017 after they separated. Had reconciled, they actually divorced in August 2019.
