Offenbach (dpa / lrs) – On Wednesday, a cold front is approaching from the north, which can bring individual showers, but also thunderstorms and heavy rain to Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland. The morning starts brightly, during the day it can be cloudy at times, as the German Weather Service (DWD) announced in Offenbach. The maximum temperatures are 30 to 32 degrees, in the mountains 27 to 29 degrees.

On Thursday night it will be significantly cooler at 17 to 11 degrees. It usually remains free of precipitation. Thursday will be mostly sunny and dry with highs between 22 and 27 degrees, at high altitudes around 20 degrees. On Friday night, temperatures then drop to ten to six degrees, and four degrees at high altitudes.
