French Patrice Carteron, former coach of Zamalek, confirmed that he had terminated his contract amicably with the team, indicating that he did not want to disclose the reasons for leaving.
“I left Zamalek in an amicable way, after my desire to leave the team,” said “Carteron” in exclusive statements to “Sada Al Balad”.
He continued: “I informed the administration of my desire to leave the team, and pay the penalty clause.”
He concluded, “I will not disclose the reasons for leaving Zamalek, as it concerns me only, and I wish him success.”
It is noteworthy that Carteron won two championships with Zamalek during his tenure, namely the Egyptian and African Super Championships.
