Former player Real Madrid, Christoph Metzelder, have to deal with law enforcement. The man from Germany is suspected of being involved in the case child pornography.
Metzelder was reportedly caught in the problem of spreading child pornography. Launch reports The mirrorThe 39-year-old man has stored 297 files containing pornographic content for children and teenagers and has been investigated by the police since September 2019.
Not only keeping these obscene files, Metzelder is accused of sending 29 image files and videos of child pornography to the three women during the period July and September 2019 via the Whatsapp application. His case is currently being handled by the Duesseldorf District Court, Germany.
The case of Metzelder’s alleged involvement in child pornography came to the attention of the German public. The reason is, he is a figure who has tasted 47 appearances with the German national team from 2001 to 2008, and collected silver medals at the 2002 World Cup and the 2008 European Cup.
Christoph Metzelder indeed a former defender who was active on the European football scene during the 2000s. He started his professional career at SC Preussen Munster in 1999, before joining Borussia Dortmund a year after.
Metzelder played for seven years at The Borussia with a collection of one Bundesliga title 2000/2001. In 2007, he joined the Spanish giants Real Madrid.

The 2007/2008 Spanish League title was successfully presented by Metzelder in his first season with Madrid. After a three-year career at the Santiago Bernabeu, he decided to return to Germany and strengthen Schalke 04.
Metzelder played for three years with Schalke and moved to his childhood club, TuS Haltern, in 2013. He decided to hang up his boots there at the age of 32.
After retiring, Christoph Metzelder had tried out a career as a pundit at a German broadcast station, ARD. He also assumed the position of president of the TuS Haltern club, but resigned after tripping over a case child pornography.
