More than 100 new productions of the season and 20 online projects were evaluated and nominated by a jury of five people: Līga Ulberte (theater scientist, chairman of the jury); Andris Rutkēviča (theater critic); Eduards Liniņš (commentator, translator); Yevgeny Shermeneva (theater journalist, producer); Undine Adamaite (cultural journalist, theater scientist, theater critic).
With the support of the Ministry of Culture, this year will also start its work at the end of September 2020 Gamblers Night a jury for children and youth, the work of which will be coordinated by actress Alīda Pērkone.
The Board of the Latvian Theater Employees’ Union has also approved the new one Gamblers Night jury for the 2020/2021 season.
