The Director of Health Programs Department at the Eastern Mediterranean Regional Office, Dr. Rana Al-Hijjah, set up guidelines to provide basic health services in light of the Corona crisis, noting that attention has been paid to emergency health care while providing mental health programs for those affected by Corona.
This came during a press conference held by the WHO Regional Office for the Eastern Mediterranean, today, Tuesday, September 15, by video link on the latest developments in the regionally emerging coronavirus, and basic health services in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Dr. added. Rana Al-Hijjah, that infection prevention standards have been updated during the Corona pandemic, pointing out that the organization has supported national immunization programs against polio, whooping cough, meningitis, and other medicines that can be prevented through immunization.
