In the 2000s, he quickly became known as the man behind the character Timothy Dahle in “The Elves in the Barn”, “Get Ready To Be Boyzvoiced” and “The Elves over Forest and Hi” – the Norwegian comedian and actor Henrik Elvestad (47).
The 47-year-old has also previously been seen in the TV 2 program “Tonight with Timothy Dahle”, where he played the character of the same name, and in the sports and humor program “Golden Goal” with Johan Golden.
In 2014, he starred in the mockumentary series “Samurai Security”, and two years later he directed the program “The Master of Amateurs”.
Since 2016, however, there has been little to watch Elvestad on the TV screen.

– Doubted about the TV job
Next year he will make a TV comeback in the twelfth season of «71 degrees north – Norway’s toughest celebrity». When Dagbladet met Elvestad just before the recording, together with the rest of the tour-ready participants, he put his absence into words.
– Actually, I should have been on TV now, with a program series that should have been part of the run-up to the Olympics in Tokyo. It is a bit of a coincidence that it has not arrived. When the Olympics were postponed due to the corona pandemic, the series was also postponed, he says.
He therefore admits that the participation in “71 degrees north – Norway’s toughest celebrity” in many ways becomes a kind of TV comeback.
–
– There have been some performances, but I have actually worked mostly behind the scenes, with new concepts. And as I said, I have recorded a series that should have been on TV. It’s a bit random, he continues.
– But I have doubted my TV job, even though I have not been in front of the camera, he adds.
– An old ring fox
Now he will embark on what can quickly become the adventure of his life. Elvestad admits to Dagbladet that he has one goal for participation: not to break out first.
– Then I want to get as far as possible, because it is a cool experience. I will try not to be sent home after two weeks with my tail between my legs, he explains.
With the participation, the comedian hopes to experience a lot of new things, and get to know new people.
– It’s a complex gang, but you get welded together. You have to when you have to be so close to each other, he adds.
This year there is a varied and unique group that will participate, and Elvestad is among the oldest participants – something he himself does not quite get to vote.
–
– I do not see myself as an old ring fox, but I realize that that is what I am, he admits with a laugh.
The comedian adds that, despite his age, he hopes not to be seen as a father figure to the other participants.
– I hope it is a flat structure, and that everyone takes their place. Then it will be resolved enough, says the 47-year-old.
Elvestad makes no secret of the fact that he likes to have a certain degree of control. If your blood sugar gets too low, he may also lose patience.
– I have a temperament that can come to the surface. Then I can say that I have the upper hand, he explains.
– Is there a page you are afraid to show on TV?
– I’m not really stressed about it, but it’s my children. They have asked me to behave nicely, he explains.
Elvestad’s temperament may not ruin the reality participation, but Elvestad is worried about something completely different.
–
– Physics must play a little more on teams. This is how you notice when you approach 50 years. There are a lot of hips, knees, shoulders, backs and crap, he explains, and adds:
– But also sleeping in a tent for so long, on a sleeping pad that is such a fit ass. It’s a long time to be on tour. So the biggest challenge is to prevent the slightly bad body from collapsing.
