A large stone fell from the hearts of the inhabitants of Nová Ves. They have been anxiously awaiting the results of the area test since Thursday. “I’m so glad that I was on the tests and that I was negative. And I’m glad that the whole village actually ended up like this. And I hope that everything will be quiet,” said one of the locals. The mayor of the village, Miroslav Sedlák, speaks similarly.
For forty people who took part in firefighting at the end of August, Covid-19 tests proved. Another more than one hundred and fifty people were tested at the end of last week. “The biggest complications are with the little one, because they sent us home from school, because he is from this village,” one of the locals complained on Friday.
Last week, the management of Nová Ves closed the municipal office, pub and food until further notice. Extraordinary hygiene measures also apply in the village. “Veils must be worn in public, we carry out mass disinfection of public spaces,” Mayor Sedlák lists.
Despite the fact that the results of all people from mass testing are negative, extraordinary hygiene measures remain in place. “Until the positive ones are negative after the second collection,” said Přemysl Tomašuk, the director of the hygiene station. According to hygienists, it could be within the next week.
