The Zamalek volleyball team beat Al-Ahly 3-1 in the number of runs in the match that was held between them this evening at the Arab Contractors Hall.
Al-Ahly decided the first half in his favor with a score of 31-29, before Zamalek returned to the match and decided the second in his favor with a score of 25-20, so that the two teams tied 1-1 in the number of games in the match.
Zamalek continued its superiority in the match and settled the third game in its favor with a score of 25-18, before the white team ended the match in its favor after winning the fourth game easily, with a score of 25-14.
And by beating Al-Ahly, Zamalek is the only team that managed to win back and forth over the red team in the league.
With this result, Zamalek’s balance rose to point 58 in second place in the league, behind Al-Ahly, the leader with 60 points.
Al-Ahly had decided the volleyball tournament one round before the end of the competition, after beating Tale’aa Al-Jaish 3-1 in the penultimate round of the local championship.
