PARIS – In France, 7,183 new corona infections have been detected in the past 24 hours, significantly less than Saturday. Then health authorities reported an increase of 10,561 infections, a record number. During the peak of the first wave, on March 31, 7578 French contracted the dreaded virus in one day.
