LEON, KOMPAS.com – One father of Mexico reportedly stabbed a man in the street, as he suspected he was the perpetrator of the rape towards his daughter.
The incident is said to have occurred in Leon, a city located in Guanajuato State, the central area of ”Sombrero Country”, on September 1.

The father, identified as Luis Manuel, was initially resting in the car park, where on CCTV footage he was wearing a black T-shirt.
Meanwhile, the alleged perpetrator of the rape was named David Enrique. He was talking to a partner before approaching Manuel.
Shortly thereafter, Enrique is beaten with Mexican media reporting that Manuel is annoyed that he believes in his daughter raped by him.
CCTV footage shows the 40-year-old man angrily pulling out a knife and attempting to stab him in the chest.
Reported Daily Mirror Friday (11/9/2020), Enrique fell with Manuel continuing to attack him. They only stopped after being separated by local visitors.
Enrique reportedly suffered a deep stab wound and was rushed to the nearest hospital, where he died the next day.
Manuel was immediately detained by the police who happened to be on duty in front of the city prosecutor’s office, where the incident occurred.
The prosecutor’s office said Manuel was later put in custody on charges of murdering the man who raped his son.
His father was later taken to a pre-trial detention center, with investigations being carried out.
