Fully developed and engineered by Maserati, the MC20 is the brand’s first mid-engined supercar in 16 years. The abbreviation MC stands for Maserati Corse, which underlines the company’s connection with motorsport, and the number 20 denotes the current year. In the design of the MC20, which we have been working on for about two years, you can find echoes of its predecessor MC12, but upon closer inspection, you will notice that, in addition, Maserati has updated the branded “trident”. Previously, the logo was changed in 2005, when the shape of the extreme teeth was slightly corrected for Poseidon’s trident.
