Attention construction site: traffic cut off on the A31

Deviation

Motorists using the A31 must imperatively exit at interchange 37.1, at Guénange-Bertrange. A detour will be set up by the RD60 towards the A30 before returning to the A31. Users of the A30, in the Longwy-Metz direction, will not be diverted.

For the weekend of September 19 to 21, which promises to be the most tense (in particular Sunday at the end of the day), access to the RD60 will be closed to users of the secondary network circulating in the Uckange sector. The aim is to avoid congestion and to prioritize the flow of vehicles diverted from the motorway.

Goal

This bridge, located just before the junction of the A30 and A31 motorways, coming from Luxembourg, will thus be solidified. The location is strategic because it supports traffic of nearly 34,000 vehicles per day, 12% of which is truck, according to the DirEst. A first intervention was held in the summer of 2018.
