Oppo Watch test. This is a surprisingly good and thoughtful watch

The display takes up almost the entire front, on the other side we have a set of sensors, and on the right side there are two long buttons. The straps are detached in a similar way as in the Apple Watch, but we do not pull them along the rail, but unfasten them. It’s a convenient mechanism, but forget about attaching regular straps, bands or bracelets. Oppo Watch meets the IP68 waterproof standard, so you can easily go to the swimming pool with it. However, I will stick a little to the standard belt, which has unfastened itself twice. I like the idea of the Nike “band” from AW much more, the end hides in a special hole there and even when the clasp pops out of the buttonhole (which has never happened to me), the whole thing is still on the wrist.

Display in Oppo Watch

This is AMOLED with a diagonal of 1.91 inches and a resolution of 402 by 476 pixels with a density of 326 ppi. And here there is no doubt – viewing angles, colors, contrast at the highest level. Everything is sharp and legible even on a sunny day, I have nothing to complain about. On the other hand, I did have slight responsiveness issues at the edges (screen swap gestures) popping in and out so it could be a software issue and the watch got updates during testing which apparently improved both this and the runtime on a single charge. You can see that Oppo is still refining the soft, because the update has added, for example, always-on-display.
