The next generation of consoles is coming and with the launch of the Xbox Series X and S, you will be playing these games.
This week was Xbox week. Microsoft has announced the Xbox Series S and announced the prices of the two upcoming consoles (see specs and differences here). We now know that we can get started with the next generation of consoles from 10 November. But which next-gen Xbox Series X games can you pick up at launch? Only a handful, as far as we know now.
Fans of Assassin’s Creed and Dirt can in any case look forward to the launch of Xbox Series X, because a launch game is included with those two franchises. Those are about the only two games that come out immediately. But more treats are planned for later that month. Find out more about the unlocked games for Xbox Series X and S at the bottom of the article.

Games to be released later for Series X and S
Finally, games that come later to the next generation. Of course, this category includes literally every game that hits stores after November 10th. But specifically, there is only one we should mention here: Cyberpunk 2077. The highly anticipated RPG from Witcher maker CD Projekt Red will be released initially for the current generation. The game will then be released on next-generation consoles in 2021.
