Wertheim Village: From a green field to a multi-million dollar project

Much has been argued about Wertheim Village. Then on 09/11/2001 the authorities cleared the way for the project. What happened to the outrage of yesteryear.

Almosenberg: The name of this inconspicuous hill east of the Wertheim district of Bettingen sounds like poverty and need. But nobody needs alms there anymore, on the contrary: In the past 17 years the area has become a shopping mile that is well known far beyond the region. Right in the middle and the beginning of everything: Wertheim Village, formerly known as Factory Outlet Center (FOC) Wertheim.
