BARCELONA – The Spanish giants, Barcelona, are still with their plans to get Lautaro Martinez in the 2020 summer transfer market. The Barcelona management was previously reported to have prepared a final offer to bring Inter Milan’s striker.
Launching from the Italian Football page, Friday (11/09/2020), Lautaro Martinez’s agents Beto Yaque and Roly Zarate appeared to have arrived in Barcelona. They will meet with club officials to discuss the last offer proposed by the Barcelona camp.
Lautaro himself has a release clause in his contract worth 111 million euros, or approximately Rp1.9 trillion. However, so far Barcelona’s bidding has never come close to that figure.

One of the reasons why Barcelona are so incessantly working on Lautaro is because the player is considered to be Luis Suarez’s ideal replacement. As is known, the Uruguayan striker is rumored to be leaving Camp Nou this summer.
This is because Suarez is no longer included in the plans of Barcelona’s new coach, Ronald Koeman. For this reason, Koeman also urged Suarez to immediately look for a new club in the transfer market this summer.
El Pistolero – the nickname Suarez – himself has been linked with a number of clubs, one of which is the Italian giants, Juventus.
The 33-year-old striker is believed to be the right partner for Cristiano Ronaldo on the Bianconeri front lines. Moreover, their new coach, Andrea Pirlo also plans to release Gonzalo Higuain in the near future.
In addition, Koeman’s intention to release Suarez himself was because the Dutchman wanted to regenerate the front lines by placing younger players to support Lionel Messi’s figure.
To work around this, Koeman considered the figure of Luataro Martinez to be the right option in the plan.
