The CDC says there is no evidence to suggest that eating or handling certain foods can transmit the virus corona in August 2020.
So far, the health protection agency has only recommended washing hands with soap and water for 20 seconds after handling packages, before preparing food, and when eating.
The CDC also reports that the most common way to spread the virus corona Covid-19 is person-to-person contact, including from droplets in the air after someone coughs or sneezes.
The FDA also says the virus cannot survive on imported food packaging and depends on its surface. If you can, the virus can only last for a short time, ranging from a few hours to days.
