A spectacular accident occurred late on Thursday afternoon near the Mainfranken Theater. According to the police, a 74-year-old man wanted to turn off Theaterstrasse into Ludwigstrasse around 4.30 p.m. Apparently for health reasons he lost control of his car. He drove over a construction site boundary, hit a pedestrian light with his car and then crashed into the outside wall of a restaurant.
