The Milwaukee Bucks, the National Basketball Association’s (NBA) unit, have no plans to part with the unit’s head star Janis Adetokunbo or head coach Mike Budenholcher in the upcoming inter-season, reports Sham Charania, The Athletic’s reviewer.

2019/2020. The Milwaukee team finished the main event of the 2006 season in first place in the East with 56 wins and 17 losses. In the quarterfinals of the conference, the Bucks beat Orlando’s Magic, but in the next round they lost to the Miami Heat 1-4. During the series, Adetokunbo showed dissatisfaction with his playing time, but the head coach pointed out that in such tense fights 35-36 minutes is the maximum.

The Bucks also became the initiator of a boycott – in protest against another incident of police violence against a dark-skinned citizen, Milwaukee basketball players did not go on the field in one of the Eastern semifinal fights. The Bucks also supported other units that evening. The missed matches were postponed, but there is an opinion that this situation greatly affected the Milwaukee team and it could no longer return to the best form.

However, the club management does not plan radical changes in the off-season. Adetokunbo, who can become an unrestricted free agent after next season, will be offered a “super-max” contract – a five-year contract for an amount ranging from $ 221 million to $ 233 million (€ 187-197 million) depending on the salary ceiling.

Budenholzers can also be sure of his place in the club, because he will not be fired. The management is in the mood that this was a season from which everyone can learn something and use the experience gained to improve themselves. The coach must continue to build a team with a winning mentality, supplementing the line-up with players who know how to pull the team at crucial moments.

Eric Bledso, who in 2019 earned inclusion in the NBA’s defensive top five, and this season’s second in the defensive five, is a candidate for substitution. Before the season, a contract with him was signed for four years for 70 million dollars (about 59 million euros).
