According to the Italian media, striker Gonzalo Higuaín will become an Inter Miami player in the North American MLS league after the announced departure from Juventus Turin. The 32-year-old Argentine has allegedly already agreed with the management of the “Old Lady” on the conditions for the termination of the engagement, which was not to expire until next year in June. According to Gazzetta dello Sport, he has also traveled overseas to work for a club co-owned by David Beckham.
Higuaín has been a player of Juventus since 2016. He played for the Turin Grand Club for three seasons and in the meantime also guested at AC Milan and Chelsea. In the last year of Serie A, he scored eight goals in 32 matches in the competition of star teammate Cristiano Ronald. However, the new coach Andrea Pirlo did not count on him in his plans.
Higuaín came to Juventus from Naples for 90 million euros and then became the most expensive player in the Italian football league. Prior to that, he served as vice world champion in 2014 at Real Madrid, with whom he won the league title three times, as well as with Juventus. With Naples he dominated the Italian Cup and with Chelsea the European League.
