For the first time since the case began, Chad Daybell, the stepfather of Idaho’s missing children, answered questions from a reporter. He declined to say if little JJ and his sister Tylee are still alive.
Does Chad Daybell know of anything? The man, Lori Vallow’s fifth husband, with whom he fled to Hawaii several weeks ago, was questioned on Wednesday by an ABC reporter. Since last September, JJ Vallow and Tylee Ryan, the children of his new wife, have been missing. Their mother was arrested last week, despite still refusing to cooperate with the justice system. Chad Daybell, too, does not wish to comment on this matter. “I can’t say anything, I can’t say anything,” he told ABC. “We have to wait until the justice process is over, now I have to go,” he just said.

According to the indictment, she “abandoned her two minor children, prevented the authorities from finding them and encouraged another individual to do the same.” Indicted for child abandonment and desertion, she faces up to 28 years in prison.
