MINISTERIAL MANAGEMENT
The Court of Justice of the Republic (CJR) began this week its hearings as part of the judicial information on the ministerial management of the Covid-19 crisis targeting Edouard Philippe, Olivier Véran and Agnès Buzyn. The first hearing, that of an expert, took place on Monday, according to a judicial source.
On Wednesday, Philippe Naccache, Ludovic Toro and Emmanuel Sarrazin, three doctors representing the C19 collective who lodged a complaint against the former Prime Minister Edouard Philippe and his former Minister of Health Agnès Buzyn, were heard by three magistrates for four hours. Not having had time to answer all the questions, they were reconvened for October 1, according to the plaintiffs.
Three other plaintiffs, an assessor during the municipal elections and two children of a deceased victim of Covid-19, must still be heard this Friday. The Vigi-Police union and a man who contracted the disease are summoned next Tuesday.
