Chantal walks with Raymond for a day. He is a canteen worker at sheltered employment. Every day he ensures that all employees receive coffee, tea and a tasty lunch. Chantal rolls up her sleeves and also gets to know Raymond’s boss: Bea.
–
After an extensive conversation with Bea, it appears that the employees sometimes call her Cruella. “They always imitate me very nicely when I’ve been angry”, the Frisian explains. That anger shows up when her co-workers get ‘too sociable’, which happens especially on Fridays. On that day Dutch-language music is played every week and the canteen employees secretly turn the music a little louder.
–
Chantal wouldn’t be Chantal if she wasn’t a bit rebellious herself. “Do you think Bea will go crazy if we already put on Dutch music?” Of course they decide to put it to the test. “If she gets angry, we’ll run.”
–
Raymond’s colleagues, including Chantal, scream – but Bea quickly turns the music off again. “I don’t think it is possible what you do”, the presenter says quickly. “That’s not fun for Bea either.”
Bea may be strict, but her intentions are good: she wants to protect employees. Many of them can get upset from the loud music.
