They are Hakim Ziyech, Timo Werner, Ben Chilwell, Malang Sarr, Thiago Silva, Xavier Mbuyamba, and lastly Kai Havertz.

The seven players are apparently not final. There are still a few more that are being rumored to be docked at Stamford Bridge.

Besides the goalkeeper Edouard Mendy from Rennes, Chelsea are also rumored to be interested in recruiting David Alaba from Bayern Munich. The future of the Austrian player is in the spotlight.

David Alaba’s contract at Bayern expires in 2021. The 28-year-old has the opportunity to leave for free, but there are reports he wants to leave as soon as possible.

David Alaba reportedly wants to leave if he doesn’t reach a new contract agreement with Bayern. Thus, Bayern can still get money from selling the player to another club. So far, the discussion of his contract has reportedly stalled, which gives Chelsea a chance to sign him.

David Alaba himself is now mostly played as a center back by Bayern. This position is one of the priorities of the manager Frank Lampard this season.

The problem is, David Alaba is reportedly more interested in playing as a defensive midfielder. In that position, Chelsea already has N’Golo Kante, and also reportedly monitoring Declan Rice.

David Alaba himself has played at Bayern since 2009, and has presented 9 titles Bundesliga and 2 titles Champions League, with a total of 386 appearances and contributed to 31 goals.
