A majority say they have developed one or more psychological complaints due to the corona crisis. Most of all, people miss contact, spontaneity and security in their lives.
This is shown by research by EenVandaag about the influence of the corona crisis on the mental health of people in the country. Although most people are satisfied with their lives, the mental damage of the crisis is visible six months after the first infection.

Psychological complaints due to the corona crisis
A majority said in the EenVandaag research to have experienced one or more psychological complaints as a direct result of the corona crisis. The complaints vary from worrying and concentration problems to panic attacks and depression.

About this research
The survey was held from 3 to 8 September 2020. 25,582 members of the EenVandaag Opinion panel took part in the survey. After weighting, the survey is representative of six variables, namely age, gender, education, marital status, distribution across the country and political preference, measured by the 2017 House of Representatives elections. The Opinion panel consists of 70,000 members.
