JEMBER, KOMPAS TV – Regent of Jember Benefits admitted he was surprised by the administrative sanctions given by Governor of East Java Khofifah Indar Parawansa to himself.
As is well known, the Regent Benefits was given a sanction on the grounds of being late in discussing the 2020 Regional Budget Plan.
According to Benefits, the sanction should have applied to him and the Jember Regency DPRD. But what happened was the governor’s sanction was only given to him.

As a result of the sanctions, Faida’s financial rights as Regent of Jember were not paid for six months.
The sanctions were stated in letter number 700/1713/060/2020 concerning the imposition of administrative sanctions on the Regent of Jember which was signed by Khofifah as the Governor of East Java.
“There is something I wonder about. Because the recommendation from the Minister of Home Affairs for the delay is the responsibility of the regent and the DPRD. But the sanctions imposed are only for the regent, not being paid. Yes I understand about that. I think there will be a big lesson,” said Faida in Malang, Java. Timur, Wednesday (9/9/2020).
